Farmers' Market

Come see what fresh and green really mean at the Hillsdale County Farmers' Market on the historic Courthouse Square, open seasonally each Saturday morning from mid-May through October.

Bordered by neighborhoods with statuesque old homes, Mrs. Stock's Park, and traversed by the Baw Beese Trail (a walking and biking path), Downtown Hillsdale is also just moments away from the Hillsdale Community Library, the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds, home of "The Most Popular Fair on Earth", and all-sports Baw Beese Lake and Sandy Beach recreation area. Hillsdale College, a renowned independent, liberal arts college, is located just "up the hill" from Downtown providing numerous arts and cultural opportunities for the community.

A National Register Historic District, Victorian-era Downtown Hillsdale is the center of government and commerce for Hillsdale County.

Located in the center of the industrial Midwest, Hillsdale is within miles of three major interstate highways (I-94, I-69, I-80/90) and is less than two hours from major airports in Detroit, Lansing, Toledo, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Kalamazoo. Battle Creek's free trade port is within an hour's drive.
