The Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities has received national recognition for achieving exceptional electric reliability in 2016. The recognition comes from the American Public Power Association a trade group that represents more than 2,000 not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities. The association honored only 121 public power utilities with this award.

In an effort to enhance your recycling program we will be increasing your pick up schedule. Effective in April 2017 we will be increasing your service to Every Other Week pick up which means you will be getting 26 pick-ups per year instead of the current 24 pick-ups per year.

Headquartered in Hillsdale, Paragon Metals, a global supplier of precision-machined components for automotive and industrial markets, has plans to expand their Michigan footprint. The company has been awarded new contracts and plans to expand operations in Hillsdale, investing $19.98 million and creating 50 qualified new jobs.
