Current News Items for the City of Hillsdale

On Saturday February 11th, the Hillsdale Community Library will be holding a "Love Your Library" Silent Auction from 5 to 8 PM. The proceeds will be used to purchase shelving for The Pulver Collection.

The Pulver collection has arrrived at the Mitchell Research Center. John Pulver, a native of Hillsdale, began his collection of "Michigan" authors, books and ephemera, over fifty years ago. His donation of this collection to the City of Hillsdale and his request that the non-fiction items be housed in the Mitchell Research Center has helped to return the Mitchell building to its original intended use as a library and research center.
